Kris was offered a scholarship to Seminole State College in Eastern, OK, a powerhouse baseball school. He has caught his entire career, but converted to a pitcher during his freshman year at Seminole. After his freshman year at Seminole, he transferred to Western Oklahoma State College, another baseball-driven school. He then converted back to catching for the Pioneers. This was a great season for Kris as both a catcher and a pitcher in the later innings of several games. He was drafted in the 31st round of the 2003 draft by Minnesota Twins and played in Ft. Myers, FL and Elizabethton, TN for the Twins Single A team.
His instruction strategy is to quickly understand the players’ abilities in order to prevent wasting time on silly, unbeneficial drills. You can expect Kris to be loud, excited, and a ton of fun to be around. Having a confident attitude is very important to Kris as he feels it gives you an automatic advantage on the diamond. We know that your child will enjoy working with Kris!

Pete is educated, trained and certified in the science of Biomechanics – the laws of physics applied to the human body. For a player this means, the ability to use the entire body for pitching and hitting. Especially in pitching, it is scientifically proven to be the safest and most effective way to pitch. Safety – protecting the arm is first and foremost. The idea is to take as much pressure off of the shoulder and elbow as possible, which is injury preventive. Coach Pete calls it “Dominant Longevity”. The same science proven methods are also applied to hitting.
